Care & Use
CAST IRON COOKWARE
To keep your GRIZZLY Cast Iron Cookware in good working order, be sure to allow it to cool down prior to cleaning. All cast iron (coated or not) is prone to cracking it if is cooled too quickly. Please do not place your hot GRIZZLY directly on cold surfaces or under cold water.
Soap and sponges are safe to use. Sometimes foods with high levels of nitrates (e.g. bacon, pork, root vegetables) can leave brown stains that are hard to remove. This is completely normal and does not affect the cooking performance of your GRIZZLY Cookware. If you want to remove the stains, start by scrubbing with a sponge, soap and hot water. For particularly stubborn stains, try a bottle of Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser and an ultra-fine Scotch Brite pad.
DO NOT USE BLEACH OR BLEACH PRODUCTS TO CLEAN.
